Order Confirmation & Policy Acceptance

By placing an order through the Emma’s Wardrobe website, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to the terms outlined in this Return & Refund Policy.

Completing a purchase confirms that you:

  • Understand the return conditions and time limits described below

  • Agree to follow the return procedure if you request a return

  • Accept that this policy and related order records may be used as documentation in the event of a payment dispute or chargeback


Returns

If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, you may request a return for eligible items within 30 days of receiving your order, provided the conditions listed below are met.


Conditions for Returns

To be eligible for a return, items must meet the following requirements:

  • The item must not have been worn, washed, or used

  • The item must be returned in its original condition

  • Original packaging must still be included where possible

  • The item should only have been handled to inspect it

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

After we receive your returned item, it will be inspected. Approved returns are usually processed within 7 business days. Items that show clear signs of wear, misuse, or damage not caused during production may be refused.


How to Request a Return

To start a return request, please contact us within 30 days of delivery.

Please include the following details in your message:

  • Your order number

  • The reason for the return

  • Photos of the item (required if the item is damaged or defective)

  • Your full name and shipping address

Please wait for our confirmation and return instructions before sending any item back.

Items sent back without prior approval may not be accepted. We recommend using a tracked shipping service and keeping proof of shipment until your return has been processed.


Damaged or Defective Items

If your item arrives damaged or has a manufacturing defect, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order.

  • Your order number

  • A brief description of the problem

  • Clear photos or a short video showing the issue

After reviewing the case, we may offer a replacement item depending on product availability and the nature of the issue. In some cases, the item may not need to be returned.

Replacement items are typically processed within 7 to 14 business days.


Lost Packages

If your package appears to be lost during shipping, please contact us with your order number and tracking details.

We will assist by contacting the shipping carrier and opening an investigation if necessary. If the carrier confirms the package is lost, we will arrange either a replacement or a refund.


Refused or Undeliverable Packages

If a package is refused, unclaimed, or returned due to an incorrect shipping address provided at checkout, a $35 CAD administrative and shipping fee may be deducted from the refund.


Order Cancellations

Under Canadian consumer guidelines, customers may withdraw from their purchase within 30 days of receiving their order.

Please note the following:

  • Orders cannot be canceled once they have already been shipped

  • If the order is already in transit, a return request can be made after delivery

  • If you wish to cancel an order before shipment, please contact us as soon as possible

Return shipping costs remain the responsibility of the customer.


Payment Disputes & Chargebacks

If you experience any issue with your order, we strongly encourage you to contact our customer support team first so we can resolve the situation quickly.

In the case of a chargeback or payment dispute, we may provide the payment provider with documentation such as:

  • Order confirmation details

  • Shipping and tracking information

  • Communication records with the customer

Submitting a chargeback without contacting us first may delay resolution and could affect future purchases.


Additional Information

Please note the following important details:

  • Approved returns must be shipped to our central fulfillment warehouse

  • Return shipping costs are not covered by Emma’s Wardrobe

  • We are not responsible for customs delays or clearance procedures

  • Items returned in unsanitary or clearly used condition may not be accepted

Returns are not free, and shipping and handling fees may apply.
